Over the past two months, each of the seven Anchor Cohort Collaboratives have been gathering for place-based retreats, dedicating time to take stock of what they have learned and beginning to identify interventions that respond to interconnected challenges such as health inequity, food insecurity, diet-related chronic disease, and the impacts of climate change.
While the issues that teams examine for their wicked problems are sometimes intractable, meeting in person emphasized that the work is building real-world connections and potential for action. Across the Anchor Cohort, there is a great diversity of food and health systems. Here are some photos of the Collaboratives as they gathered across the country.
