Film screening: "Why Hospital Food Matters for Reconciliation"

On Tuesday March 23, 2021 @ 12 pm EDT, join us for the launch screening of the short film, Why Hospital Food Matters for Reconciliation. Be among the first to see the film, followed by a Q&A with chef Ben Genaille from BC, and Stephanie Cook, Director of Nutrition and Food Services for the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (SK). All are welcome, but registration is required.

Nourish is investing in Indigenous foodways within hospitals and health organizations as a way to respond to and build back better from the pandemic. A partnership with the Frontline Fund enabled five Indigenous-focused projects to plant seeds for systems change while also addressing food insecurity exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This film portrays the impact of these Indigenous-focused projects and opportunities for addressing health inequity and reconciliation as we build back better from the pandemic.

If you join us for the screening, share your reactions with us on Twitter @NourishLead.
