Meet Claire 

Claire Potvin is Food Coordinator at the CIUSSS du Saguenay Lac St-Jean in Quebec. She has been a Registered Dietician for 33 years and has worked in the field of Clinical Nutrition. Holding a management position for the last 15 years, she has lead several teams, namely the Food Services. She is passionate about her work and always looking to discover best practices. She is influential with managers, dieticians and the staff of both the Food Services and other departments. She believes that it is crucial for the food offering to be consistent and aligned with the CIUSSS’s mission of promoting health. She completed a master’s degree a the National School of Public Administration.

Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean

Located on the North shore of the Saint-Lawrence River, the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean seeks to maintain the health and well-being of the area’s population. To do so, it offers a continuum of accessible integrated services that are suited to the needs of the population. Being an integrated university center, it also plays a role in the development and sharing of scientific knowledge and practices. The CIUSSS du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean includes nine public installations with 10 000 employees, and seven food services that serve 277 000 residents on an annual budget of 22 million dollars.
