Michelle has worked and supported many rural health centers, large urban hospitals, education institutes, as well as continuing care centers for over 20 years.
Covenant Health
Covenant Health is a health care organization providing service to 17 sites in 12 communities across Alberta. Serving over 2,300 patients and residents each day, Covenant Health operates Acute Care Hospitals, Continuing Care Centers, and Supportive Living Centers. A majority of the sites have conventional kitchens that offer scratch cooking with a focus on providing homemade, fresh prepared foods. Every day we live our mission, “We are called to continue the healing ministry of Jesus by serving with compassion, upholding the sacredness of life in all stages, and caring for the whole person – body, mind and soul.”
Nourish Vision
We are working to implement a new food service delivery system at one of our acute care hospitals that will enhance the patient experience and bring the joy of food to our patients. The room service model will change the way we look at food service and change the way the patient experiences food service in hospitals.
